Samsung has recently introduced the all new samsung galaxy s6 and s6 edge at MNC.both of the new smartphones are good.and I wanna tell you about the first hands on the all new  galaxy s6 and galaxy s6 edge

Both the new smartphones are having some similar features as well as some differences.s6 edge is the new vision to the new technology as well as samsung galaxy s6 also steps into the  fututre.

Design of samsung galaxy s6

The bottom of the  Galaxy S6 is pretty crowded as it has  home to the USB port and standard 3.5mm headphone jack with microphone and dual speaker. The top is very much  simple as it comes only with an IR blaster and a pinhole for another microphone. In typical Samsung fashion, the left side houses the volume rocker, while the power button is on the right as always. Just under it has the pop-out SIM card slot.it is as thin as 6.88mm.which makes it very light in weight.

Performance

The galaxy s6 as well as galaxy s6 edge comes with the all new samsung chipset with is based on a 14nm fabrication process.it has a short name but it is big on power and performance.

 the CPU features four Cortex-A57 cores at 2.1GHz is  powerd-hungry scenarios and comes with a four Cortex-A53 cores which works at 1.5GHz for energy-efficency and in order to save battery. That's almost the same setup as the Snapdragon 810 which is also present in the earlier models.(except the A57 cores are clocked at 2GHz) these are the key features of the all new smartphones., but Samsung's advanced manufacturing process (14nm vs. 20nm) promises less heat and thus less reason for throttling.it also increases a lot of stability as well as power saveing.

Both the phones comes with the 5.0.2 lollipop version which act as a good interface and is very cool as it is operated by goggle+

It also comes with a 3GB ram with different storage of 16/32/64/128 GB it is increased as compared to the previous models . 64-bit Exynos 7420 chipset it is based on 14nm .

Samsung Galaxy S6 :Features

In many respects, the Galaxy S6, available in the second quarter, does feel like a new, cleaner effort for the franchise. The software and hardware has been simplified and Samsung has dialed down its Android overlay strategy and adopted Google's Material Design principles.

• Material design is a start. The version of Android with the Galaxy S6 simply looks cleaner and easier to navigate. Everything from contacts to phones to window management is easier. On the surface, the Galaxy S6 looks like it could be a cousin of Motorola's Nexus 6 that was created for Google. There appears to be some element of Samsung's TouchWiz interface, but it's downplayed.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge: design

The S6 Edge is available in four colours: white and black – as usual – plus blue and green, and all of them look great. And despite all that metal and glass, it still manages to post smaller overall dimensions than the Samsung Galaxy S5, measuring 7mm thin, 142mm tall and 70mm wide. It weighs a mere 132g.

While the Note Edge pushed the boundaries a little bit too much for us in terms of its size, we think that here, the S6 Edge delivers the perfect compromise between screen size and one-handed comfort. We were surprised at how much we liked the new design.

Samsung's design team has even managed to avoid the pitfall of having to move buttons around as it did with the Note Edge. Here, on the S6 Edge, the volume and power buttons are found in their usual positions on the left and right hand side, embedded in a very thin silver metal frame.

Screen size stasis

The S6 and S6 Edge hold steady with last year's size, 5.1 inches. This is a good call, since a larger phone would encroach on phablet territory -- and Samsung already offers that option in the excellent Galaxy Note 4, with its 5.7-inch screen

The Galaxy S6 on the whole seems to produce images that are slightly darker than its iPhone counterpart, a quality that is very apparent given the shooting conditions we had (lots of bright lighting, a tony of shiny/reflective white surfaces). The impression is that the iPhone 6 camera is a bit more effortless than the Galaxy S6 when it comes to point-and-shoot photography. For the S6, getting the perfect shot will likely take a bit more fiddling around with settings and scene.

Camera

The Galaxy S6 has a 16-megapixel camera with a f/1.9 aperture, optical image stabilisation and a fast auto-focus system. Samsung claims that it is better than the 8-megapixel camera found on the iPhone 6, which we have deemed to be the best general purpose camera phone out there in the market. In its keynote, Samsung showed demos images that showed new camera on the S6 took better images than even the iPhone 6 Plus, which has a slightly better camera than the iPhone 6 because of the added optical image stabilisation. Now, the Galaxy Note 4 also had a solid 16-megapixel camera, but it came up short of the iPhone 6 Plus. It is possible that Samsung has pulled ahead as it uses its own image sensor coupled with a new Exynos processor with a new ISP.

Either ways, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are likely to have very good cameras and will likely give the iPhone a stiff battle.

Samsung has also improved and simplified the camera app, which will make things easier for casual photographers. Samsung still provides a ton of settings, but now they are bracketed under a professional mode. The S6 is also capable of shooting video at 4K resolutions, something which the iPhone cannot.

The front facing camera on the Galaxy S6 has a 5-megapixel resolution and a f/1.9 aperture. This is significantly better than the iPhone's 1.9-megapixel camera on paper. However, Apple has proven time and again that they can outperform higher-specced competition.

• Multiple windows are easier to launch and adjust. Hopping between apps and resizing windows should make the Galaxy S6's 5-inch screen more productive and better to view spreadsheets---all while taking a conference call. Samsung has been pushing multitasking, but the previous efforts have seemed clunky.
• Work and personal personas. Samsung has simplified its entry into its Knox container technology. A prosumer can easily toggle between a work persona and a personal one with a click. This development also isn't new and BlackBerry has had something similar. What's unclear is how many workers are actually dividing up their phone. Samsung also has multiple hooks into enterprise mobility management tools.
• Samsung bundles productivity tools, but largely leaves the Google vs. Microsoft Office debate to the user. Samsung bundles both Google and Microsoft apps, but steers clear of pitting the two directly against each other except for cloud storage.
• The camera can be launched with two clicks on the home button and other tools are more readily used with one hand with the Galaxy S6.
• The Galaxy S6 supports all wireless charging formatsand has embedded them into the device. As a result, charging at airports and other locations will be easier. Using a cord, the Galaxy S6 can reach half of a battery charge in 10 minutes. Those features obviously cater to the road warrior.
• No removable battery. That wireless charging is there for a reason. The Galaxy S6 doesn't have a removable battery. That said it's unclear how many road warriors will scream. After all, plenty of travelers carry iPhones that have had sealed batteries for years.
• No SD card support in an about-face for Samsung. To compensate for the lack of SD card support the Galaxy S6 does start with 32GB of storage and includes 65GB of Microsoft One-Drive storage. As a business tool, it's unclear how many people will miss SD card support

  Software could also be a decisive factor for some. Although Samsung has slimmed down its TouchWiz software this time, HTC has an excellent track record of offering excellent features while maintaining smooth performance throughout. Both devices now support themes, which will provide plenty of choice for those who don’t like the default aesthetics.

  Android Lollipop’s little tweaks also bring marginal improvements, but as most last generation handsets have already begun receiving similar updates, having the latest version of Android is not a major selling point as it has been in previous years.

  Compared with other handsets on the market, the HTC One M9 is a refinement of last years 5-inch flagship standard, offering some improved specifications, a tad more processing power and all the features that most people will need. However, many may be disappointed that look and specifications are still remarkably similar to last year’s device.

  Samsung’s Galaxy S6 is more of a leader in the hardware department, featuring the very best of Samsung’s display technology and slightly more advanced SoC hardware, with some additional features thrown in to separate it from the pack. Overall, it offers a bit more over its last generation iteration than the M9 does, and should end up as the best performing QHD handset on the market. However, the smaller battery may end up as a bottleneck for all of this tech.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Vs Galaxy S5: Should You Upgrade?

Out with the old, in with the new. For Samsung the old was dreadful: lackluster Galaxy S5 sales and an even worse 2014, but the good news is the new has never been newer. The newly launched Galaxy S6 is Samsung’s most radical reinvention of its Galaxy S range to date. So is it enough?

My initial impressions are… maybe. The Galaxy S6 is a handset so determined to break from the past that it takes risks which may alienate the millions of owners still loyal to the range. On the flip side there are also so many positive changes that the S6 may do enough to attract a whole new audience.

Let’s break it down…

Design – Practicality Vs Style

If there was one thing Samsung knew it had to change about the Galaxy S5 it was the design and stylistically the (admittedly much leaked) Galaxy S6 is a breath of fresh air. This is immediately apparent on the page:

• Galaxy S6 – 143.3 x 70.8 x 6.9 mm (5.64 x 2.79 x 0.27 in) and 132 g (4.65 oz)
• Galaxy S5 – 142 x 72.5 x 8.1 mm (5.59 x 2.85 x 0.32 in) and 145 g (5.11 oz)

While fractionally taller, the Galaxy S6 is noticeably narrower, thinner and lighter than the Galaxy S5 despite packing the same size 5.1-inch display (more later). That said the dimensions and weight are not really where the major interest lies.

The big talking point is the shift from the Galaxy S line’s much derided plastic finishes to premium materials of aluminium and glass. As such the Galaxy S6 has been brought into line with the likes of HTC’s One range and the iPhone 6.

Yet it is not all plain sailing. The step up in build materials and to a unibody chassis bring two major compromises: the loss of expandable storage and removable batteries.

For many Galaxy users these were crucial differentiators and now LG’s G3 (and presumably the upcoming G4) will be their only premium options to provide both going forward. I find that a little sad.

I also have long term durability questions about the Galaxy S6’s move to a glass back. Apple never solved the problem of cracking which haunted both the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S and I’m not overly convinced it is a smart move of Samsung to revisit it, despite using the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

This isn’t the end of the practical compromises either as another victim of Samsung’s focus on style is the loss of the Galaxy S5’s water resistance. The S5 was never fully waterproof, but it could be splashed, sprayed or even briefly submerged in water without a problem. It was a nice differentiator so I’m sad to see it go with the S6.

Consequently while I find the Galaxy S6 to be a significantly better looking phone than its predecessor, it also feels like a much less practical device.

Displays – Extreme But Improved

I get a similar feeling from the Galaxy S6’s upgraded display:

• Galaxy S6 – 5.1-inch, 2560 x 1440 pixels (577 ppi), Super AMOLED display
• Galaxy S5 – 5.1-inch, 1920 x 1080 pixels (432 ppi), Super AMOLED panel

Objectively the jump to 2k from 1080p will deliver an even sharper screen and the improved contrast ratio and colour accuracy is welcome. That said I still fail to see the practicality of 2k on such small screens considering the hit they deliver to performance and battery life.

I appreciate the counter argument that these displays can match or even be slightly more efficient than older 1080p panels, but I’d rather see even greater savings passed onto new 1080p panels. Apple claims the human eye can’t distinguish pixels beyond 326ppi and while I disagree, I think jumps beyond the Galaxy S5’s 432 ppi verge on pointless.

Performance – Massive Hardware and Software Improvements

Given all premium smartphones arguably have more power than is necessary, it would seem the major upgrades Samsung has made to the Galaxy S6 are pointless – yet for me they are actually the most exciting aspects to the new phone:

• Galaxy S6 – Exynos 7420, Quad-core 21.GHz and 1.5GHz CPUs and Mali-T760 GPU, 3GB RAM
• Galaxy S5 – Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 CPUs and Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM

What the hardware changes to the Galaxy S6 represent are a change in Samsung’s mindset. For the first time since the Galaxy S2, Samsung has ditched Qualcomm as its primary chipset supplier and gone all in with its own Exynos 7420 chipset.

The 7420 is a potentially fascinating addition to the smartphone world which breaks from the monotony of all premium handsets choosing whatever is the latest Snapdragon option. Furthermore if Samsung’s performance and efficiency claims (35% versus rivals) bear out, it will crack the Android smartphone landscape open in a manner which is long overdue.

Yes the shift also comes with risks (all Android apps are primarily coded for compliance with Qualcomm chips), but Samsung’s influence on the sector should mitigate any major app compatibility problems.

Furthermore the Galaxy S6’s hardware innovation goes hand-in-hand with a hugely welcome overhaul of TouchWiz. Samsung made minor attempts to trim the fat on the Galaxy S5, but the real revolution comes with the Galaxy S6.

Gone is the much of the Samsung bloatware and the company has stressed its new priority is speed and efficiency. Given every TouchWiz smartphone up to now has suffered from lag (no matter the hardware) and wasted a lot storage space (crucial now micro SD expansion has gone) this is a very welcome and long overdue change of approach.

Galaxy S5 owners will inevitably see some benefit from this when the updated TouchWiz software is made available for their phones. This is unlikely to fully remove all the bloat, but it could make your existing S5 (and even S4 or S3) feel like a brand new device.

Where the S5 won’t be able to catch up, however, is the fingerprint sensor. The S5’s swipe-based sensor was fairly clunky and the S6 has a new (and slightly enlarged) fingerprint sensor which works with just a touch. This now matches a certain fruit-named company and the introduction of Samsung Pay also sees the S6 dive into the fight for smartphone-based transactions.

The Samsung Unpacked event at the MWC 2015 is all about the next generation of Galaxy smartphones - the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge. Samsung seems to be pleased with the limited edition Galaxy Note Edge market success and will be keeping the "edged" devices around.

Samsung Galaxy S6 duo have been in the rumor mill for quite some time and we already knew pretty much everything there is to know. The devices are now official and we can clear up every tiny detail.

The new Galaxy S6 series is a departure from the previous series, switching from an all-plastic shell to a dual-glass design enhanced with a metal frame. The new combination of materials works great indeed and the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge are arguably, the most beautiful Galaxy smartphones to date. We’re sure, many will forgive the camera hump on the back for sure. This time around the Galaxy S6 isn't dust and water proof though.

Samsung Galaxy S6 packs a 5.1" Super AMOLED screen with Quad HD resolution resulting into the amazing 577 ppi density. It is protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The hardware Home key once again doubles as fingerprint sensor and supports the new Samsung Pay service.

Samsung Pay relies on NFC and Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) for mobile payments. It has already been certified by Visa, MasterCard, and Samsung is employing key partners worldwide to participate in the service, including American Express, Bank of America, Citi, JPMorgan Chase, and U.S. Bank.

Unlike the Galaxy Note Edge, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge has the display glass bent on both sides of the phone. While the curve isn't as impressive as on the Note Edge, being bent on both sides makes it feel like an entirely different device. The 5.1" Super AMOLED display also utilizes at Quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. It is protected by a curved Corning Gorilla Glass 4, too.

   
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge

The rumors turned right and Samsung chose not to opt for the Snapdragon 810 chip, probably due to the overhearing issues. So, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are powered by the company's Exynos 7420, built on a 14nm process and thus more energy-efficient and producing less heat compared to 20nm Snapdragon 810.

The Exynos 7420 chip offers much similar processor to the Snapdragon 810 - an octa-core 64-bit CPU with four Cortex-A57 cores ticking at 2.1GHz and four Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.5GHz. The Exynos 7420 chip uses a Mali-T760 GPU and comes bundled with 3GB LPDDR4 of RAM. The new generation of RAM has already premiered on the LG G Flex2 and we expect the 2015 flagships to feature LPDDR4 RAM chips.

Samsung Galaxy S6 duo comes with a new ISOCELL camera sensor with 16MP resolution. The camera is enhanced with optical image stabilization, phase detection autofocus and has a single-LED flash. Quite expectedly, 4K video recording is supported.

The front camera is 5MP, capable of 1080p video capturing.

The new Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge feature 32GB / 64GB / 128GB storage, non-expandable though. The storage is of the new UFS 2.0 variety, which uses "Command Queue" tech used in SSDs for accelerating the speed of command execution. The end-result is 19,000 input/output operations (IOPS) per second for random reading – that’s 2.7x faster than the performance of the eMMC 5.0 memory found in the previous crop of flagships.

The all-round connectivity package includes LTE Cat.6, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS with GLONASS and Beidou, IR blaster and FM radio. The Galaxy S6 is powered by a 2,550 mAh battery, while the Galaxy S6 egde has a 2,600 mAh unit.

Finally, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge run on Android 5.0 Lollipop enhanced with the latest TouchWiz UI with Material design and cleaner interface. The TouchWiz on the Galaxy S6 Edge offers various features and apps working on the edges of the display, including a newer and better version of the Quick Glance info for the lockscreen.

This time around Samsung has partnered with Microsoft, instead of Dropbox, and will be offering 115GB OneDrive storage for 2 years to each Galaxy S6 user.

Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge will launch on April 10 in 20 markets, followed soon by even more countries in May. The Galaxy S6 will be available in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, Blue Topaz, while you will be abe to get the Galaxy S6 edge in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, Green Emerald. The pricing is yet to be detailed.

The past quarter has been difficult for Samsung's mobile division. Its market share and profits declined for the first time in years due to increased pressure from the likes of Apple, LG, HTC, Huawei, and Xiaomi among others.

Developed under the codename Project Zero, Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge are a massive leap forward for the popular flagship smartphone family. As usual, the devices are brimming with high-end tech but this time around they have a mature enough design language to complement them.

The brand new 14nm Exynos chipset with 64-bit architecture could well be the most powerful in its class at the moment. Samsung has paired it with the fastest flash memory available at the moment.
